TWG Guest House is an informal alternative and affordable destination/home base in the Village of Rosseau. Staying here is very cost effective. You arrive into a country courtyard and gardens of an Ontario century farmhouse, greeted by myself and my two friendly dogs, Iago and Willow. The house itself consists of rooms decorated with art (that is for sale) along with eclectic knick knacks from my career and travels.
Staying at The TWG Guest House is an experience in itself and a step back into time. The walls of the house are all original mostly consisting of tongue and groove basswood. Under the mismatched rugs you’ll still see the original linoleum. Water comes from a well and we are on septic. (So watch what you put down it! 🙂 )
Upstairs are three cozy bedrooms, one with two single beds, one with a queen and another with a single bed. (Comfortable cot available.) Guests share a bath. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
The house is brick surrounded by trees which keeps it cool. On the main floor there’s a self-contained suite with its own entrance and a two room suite. These both have ensuites.
Each room is listed separately on AirBnB when available.
During the summer, guests can sit on the porch or out in the courtyard. In the centre of the house is the equally eclectic sitting room where most guests seem to gravitate.
